You rest in the shaded square of an ancient town. You are aware of a presence beneath you in the dark, rich soil, as The Earth continues her slow dance of life. The four creatures of the elements survey you from shaded corners.
The leaves under which you lay seem to simultaneously congratulate you on the completion of your journey and anticipate a new cycle. Saturn speaks of the limitations of earthly existence; to begin a new journey, the spirit must transcend matter.
You have achieved your goal, and a door gently closes, sealing old preoccupations in your past. Their purpose is served, and you are free to expand your horizons towards new shores of happiness. A difficult time is over.
Cherish the fulfilment this connection to The Earth brings, for it is fragile; as she turns, The Fool reappears and a new journey begins.
Change comes, but not at the pace of your choosing.
Perhaps it approaches quickly, a time of enjoyment reaching its conclusion. This cannot be avoided, and will be something you welcome after consideration.
Or perhaps change comes slowly, completion delayed. You have physical, mental or spiritual work to do before the cards can turn once more. Open your heart to The Earth, for though delayed, this change will still come.
