A totem you once held dear has been smashed, and you must grieve for its loss. Perhaps trust you placed in another has been destroyed, or a belief central to your being has been proved false. Or perhaps you sense some waste of emotions, support unreturned by a companion who is happy to receive it.
Accept the melancholy that accompanies these events, but understand that your wounds will heal. An path which appeared productive has brought you back to your starting point, but there are many other paths to explore.
Clouds of adversity part, but still you are chilled by the rain they brought. Though ew opportunities become apparent, you find your joy restrained by the struggle you have borne.
Perhaps a traveller from times before seeks to rejoin your journey. Despite the circumstances of their leaving, welcome their return; this is a time for emotions to thaw so that new growth may flourish, as the ground after a hard winter.
